What are your plans this Australia Day?

Ausfest is back this year in the Shire and we are gearing up for another awesome two day festival. Featuring 100% home grown talent, 100 performers and 20 performances across the two days, the Shire's Australia Day festival is one of the largest and longest running in Australia! The festival will run on the 26th at both Cronulla Beach and Blaxland Oval Illawong and back up again on the 27th at Cronulla Beach for a relaxed day of chilled out vibes.

Below is the schedule for the festival:

Friday 26th -
South Cronulla Beach
1pm to 9pm entertainment
Fireworks at 9pm
Join Glenn Campbell, and Miranda and Engadine Musical Societies, Col Hardy, Tim Moxey, Never Ending 80s, Caravãna Sun, and Mark Vincent

Blaxland Oval, Illawong
4pm to 9pm live music, food and children’s activities
Fireworks at 9pm
Join ANSTO’s Science Shows, Westfield Miranda LIVE shows, Hot Potato Band, Never Ending 80s, and ‘Swingshift’ Cold Chisel Show

Saturday 27th
South Cronulla Beach
3pm to 9pm
Shire Vibes is the most relaxed event of the year. Bring a rug and picnic basket and enjoy an intimate and relaxed time on one of the best beaches in the world, Cronulla Beach, while enjoying the eclectic sounds of our most talented musicians. Join the Noakesey Boys, Jordan Kenny, Glenn Campbell, Papaya Tree, Danielle Lamb with Matty Jay, Petiguana and Hot Potato Band.
