Making your home smell clean and fresh is easier than you think with these easy tips.

Dryer Sheets
Taping dryer sheets to air vents will create the fresh smell into the home, similar to the smell of a dry cleaner. As the air blows through the dryer sheets, the fresh smell will distribute throughout the home.

Tea Bags
Tea bags are a great way to get rid of smelly odors created from shoes. All you have to do is place the dry tea bag into your shoes to absorb any excess moisture, this will leave behind a fresh smell.

Vacuum Bag Air Freshener
If you soak a cotton ball in cologne, and place it in your vacuum cleaner bag, the scent can be slowly released into the room as you use the vacuum cleaner.

Make a Stovetop Potpourri
If you have a lingering smell in your kitchen, making a stovetop Potpourri could help to eliminate this. All you need to do is simmer some water in a saucepan, add one slice of lemon, a sprig of rosemary, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and one cup water. Bring the pot to boil and then reduce the heat so it simmers, topping up on water as needed. This can last over several days by adding water to the pot when necessary.

Unlit Candles
Keeping unlit candles in the closet is a great way to keep your clothes smelling fresh. Candles don’t necessarily need to be lit to give off their scent.

DIY Draw Diffusers
With small muslin bags, your favourite herbs, flowers and spices you can easily make your own diffusers. Place these small bags in your drawers to make your clothes smell better naturally.

Citrus Rinds
A good trick is to keep your hollowed out orange and lemon halves, add some salt and leave them in the fridge to absorb any unwanted smells.

Frozen Garbage Disposal Pellets
Creating ice-cubes out of white vinegar, lemon and orange are a great way to freshen up your garbage disposal. Simply put the ice cube down the garbage disposal and run it. Not only does it freshen the disposal but the ice will also help to sharpen the blades.

Coffee Beans
Grinding coffee beans can release a delicious odor into the home. Hanging clean socks filled with ground coffee beans can work wonders and overtake any unwanted scents.

Vanilla
Vanilla is a great way to deodorise your freezer. Firstly you will need to throw out any unidentified or unwanted frozen foods, then you can wipe down the freezer with a vanilla extract to completely transform the freezers odor.
